JOHN & MIRIAM MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPBOOK COMPETITION

THE RESULTS ARE IN! Our judge has made a decision on the entries for the Alabama State Poetry Society Annual John and Miriam Morris Memorial Chapbook Competition for 2025, and I am pleased to inform you that THE WINNER IS Terry Jude Miller of Richmond, TX, with the manuscript entitled, "People of Ink and Bone" Congratulations to our winner, and we look forward to publishing this chapbook! These decisions are always extremely difficult with so many impressive collections from which to choose, and we would like all entrants to know that any of them could have been a winner this year. We encourage all to pursue further contesting and/or publication! Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's competition!
