I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend and a professor of social work at Auburn University. I retired from the state of Mississippi after a career in child welfare and as a professor at the University of Mississippi. I am venturing into retirement from teaching and social work, but learning to write. I love to travel and read, both to immerse myself in new cultures and see the the world through other's eyes.
